Product Questions

To install the filler pipe seal (part FPS1) is it necessary to drop the tank or can it be installed by removing the filler pipe and reached through the hole in the trunk floor?

Asked by: mike2261

I recently purchased a 71-73 mustang gas tank kit. I'm very pleased with the products but I have a question about the filler pipe seal, pipe-to-tank (Part # FPS1). Which end is inserted into the fuel tank? Is it the end that flares out? Thank you, Bob
