Product Description

EFI 22 Gallon Fuel Tank Kit with a Sending Unit and 190 LPH Fuel Pump for all 1969-1970 Mustangs.

When converting your classic 1969-1970 Mustang to an EFI system, don't forget to upgrade the fuel tank area as well. This all new EFI 22 Gallon Fuel Tank Kit with a Sending Unit and 190 LPH Fuel Pump from CJ Pony Parts is a great addition for an EFI upgraded fuel system. Electronic fuel injection is a great way to get the most reliable performance out of your Mustang's engine.

EFI Fuel Tank Kit Includes:
- 22 gallon EFI fuel tank
- GPA-Series 190 LPH Walbro fuel pump module
- 73-10 ohm fuel sending unit
- Filler hose
- Roll over vent valve

*Does not include supply or return lines from fuel tank to engine

Please Note: A Roll Over Vent Valve is included with this tank, this is an optional component that is not required if you are using a vented cap.

The center piece of this kit is the 22 gallon, galvanized steel, electronic fuel injection ready fuel tank. This fuel tank has an overall size of 32-5/8" x 24-1/2" x 9-3/4” and includes a new fuel filler hose that mounts into place with the original hardware. To prevent fuel starvation while pushing your Mustang in the turns and during rapid acceleration, the tank has an internal EFI-style baffling system that features a 4.3 liter internal fuel tray. You can mount this new EFI fuel tank into your 1969-1970 Mustang using the original mounting holes and hardware.

The fuel sending unit included with this fuel tank kit is a 73-10 ohm fuel sending unit that will work with your original, factory-style fuel gauge. The sending unit is designed with a rheostat that is made from high quality ceramic board, and the fuel sending unit itself is zinc plated to be more resistant to corrosion.

This EFI fuel tank includes a GPA-Series 190 LPH Walbro fuel pump module. Capable of supporting 450 horsepower, this fuel pump will feed fuel to your Mustang's engine at 190 liters per hour. It mounts to the fuel tank with a solid 10-gauge mounting plate that will not warp, and is yellow-zinc plated to prevent corrosion. The mounting plate has the proper fittings for the Mustang's supply, return, vent and electrical connections. A internal wiring harness, filter sock and insulator sleeve are included in the fuel pump module for a fantastic modification to your fuel assembly.

Product Questions

Application 1969 mustang with 1991 302HP EFI engine installation. Do I need Aeromotive bypass fuel pressure regulator or is the 190 lph pump sufficient? What size fuel/return lines and fuel filter should I order (part Nos. pls)?

Asked by: yatesfarms2010
You should use an adjustable fuel pressure regulator, -6 lines and fittings will be needed.
