This kit also comes with a heavy 10-gauge, no-warp mounting plate that contains all of the proper fittings for your Mustang's supply, return, vent and electrical connector. It will come yellow zinc-plated for long-term resistance to any corrosion. You'll also receive a brand new, 73-10 Ohms fuel sending unit that will properly work with your vintage Pony's original factory-style fuel gauge.

The fuel pump that comes with this kit is used with the GPA-series module and functions at 255 liters per hour. Once installed on your classic Mustang, it will be able to support up to 600 HP. This fuel tank kit also includes a internal wiring harness, filter sock and insulator sleeve for a fantastic modification to your fuel assembly.

In today's environment, it seems that the fuel your Mustang's tank has become more valuable. Make sure everything is in proper order by checking out the Mustang Fuel Tank Area at CJ Pony Parts. Write a review
Fuel Tank Kit EFI 22 Gallon With Sending Unit And 255 LPH Fuel Pump 1969-1970 is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from good product. Purchased in April, finished installation June 10. Tip #1: This requires a '70 Mustang filler tube to adapt to a '69 Mustang. Tip #2: Use Teflon tape (PTFE), not PTFE paste, on 1/4-NPT fittings! Tip #3: Check location of internal baffles - might interfere with sending unit. Supplied fuel gauge reads low in my car, but so did the factory unit, regardless of whether I used the original gauge or an Autometer replacement.

Product Questions

My 1969 Mustang has 550HP and is carbureted with a -8 supply and a 3/8" return style fuel system. Can you provide a Aeromotive 340lph Stealth In-Tank Fuel Pump instead of the 255LPH pump as 255lph regulated to 8PSI is 175HP shy of my fuel needs.

Asked by: pfw_dfw
We currently only offer the Aeromotive setup for the 65-68 Mustangs.

Which ports are which on the fuel pump assembly (eg the fuel OUT, fuel return, vent tube)?

Asked by: JustAnOl69
The port coming from the pump is the fuel out, the small one is the vent and the large one that is not connected to the pump is the fuel return.

Will CJ's 22 gallon EFI tank work with a returnless EFI conversion kit? Does the pump have to be specifically matched to the EFI kit I would use? Returnless systems pulse the electric pump.

Asked by: schrodude
This is for a return style fuel system. The pump included will be able to support up to 600 HP.
