Rated 4 out of 5 by from Just like the Original The part came quickly and was an exact replica of the original. The old switch was harder to remove than a Youtube video showed. Once installed the new switch works great.

Will this switch fit a 1964.5 mustang?

Asked by: Mustang buddy
You would have to check the build date, for pre 8/17/64 use this switch, http://www.cjponyparts.com/scott-drake-headlight-switch-pre-8-17-64-1964-1965/p/C5ZZ11654A/, anything built after that will take the SW441 switch.

Is this switch built to handle Halogen head lights with a relay in between.  Original switch.. lights will flicker or cut off if you are running Halogens.   you can only run Incandescent bulbs similar to the bulbs of the time period .

Asked by: Johnny111
The switch is OK, it's most likely the wiring that is the problem. You want to install CJ part # HVU1 to handle halogen lights.
