Rated 4 out of 5 by The Doctor from Just like the Original The part came quickly and was an exact replica of the original. The old switch was harder to remove than a Youtube video showed. Once installed the new switch works great.

Is this switch built to handle Halogen head lights with a relay in between. Original switch.. lights will flicker or cut off if you are running Halogens. you can only run Incandescent bulbs similar to the bulbs of the time period .
The switch is OK, it's most likely the wiring that is the problem. You want to install CJ part # HVU1 to handle halogen lights.

Is this an exact original style replacement SW441 or is it a reproduction type?
Does this switch come with the pull knob and shaft?
By Bill Tumas: We're here with our replacement headlight switch fitting all 1964 through 1968 Mustangs. This replacement headlight switch installs just like the factory switch, it uses the factory plug, and even has a factory style dimmer. If you're having problems with your interior lights or your headlights, a new replacement headlight switch might be the part you need.
