On one side, the length is just right, but the other side, its about 2 inches too long. Overall besides that, its great, just really disappointing that apparently its too hard to cut it the right length.
its about 3/4 an inch to wide for the hood, and the holes on the whole RH side needed to be drilled out some to be able to slide it over a little to center it somewhat, still leaving about a 1/2 to a 1/4 inch hanging off the edge of the RH edge of the hood. Buy the more expensive ones!!!
Bought this to replace the hood molding on my 68 Coupe. When we fit it, we found that it was almost 1" too long for the hood. We shifted it as much as we could, but the fitting was rubbish to be honest. Apparently this is pretty much a common issue with these repro moldings, and i'd advise going for an NOS or Scott Drake unit which may cost more, but hey, its on the front of your car and needs to look good!
Looks exactly like original. Fitment was excellent. No modifications required.
