Product Description

H&R Sport Coil Spring Set for 1979, 1980, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992 and 1993 Coupe and Hatchback Mustangs with a V8 Engine.

H&R Sport Springs offer the handling characteristics and aggressive appearance that you've been looking for. A comfortable ride is achieved without the harsh ride characteristics of less-advanced spring systems. Progressive rate springs are the secret to creating an enjoyable ride. The springs decrease fender to wheel gap by lowering your Mustang an average of 1.6" in the front and 1.5" in the rear. Performance is increased by lowering the vehicle's center of gravity and reducing body roll. Lower wind resistance makes your Mustang more streamlined which will improve gas mileage. After installation of H&R Sport Springs, windy back roads will look much more appetizing. It's a no brainer that Sport Springs are a best seller.

H&R's springs are created from a special 54SiCr6 spring steel that has a strength rated at 290,000 psi which results in unrivaled tensile strength and resiliency. You wont have to worry about H&R springs setting or sagging as they are designed and manufactured to be strong, resilient and more durable than other automotive coil springs. H&R's springs are shot-peened to increase their life by more than 200%. Every spring produced is tested and comes from the H&R ISO 9001 certified engineering and manufacturing facility in Germany.

Since the late 1970's, H&R has been developing a diverse line of products and suspension applications for the street. The owners of H&R saw the need for improved suspension and believed improving a vehicle's suspension will create more control and better handling. This lead to the design, manufacture and production of high quality springs that created a whole new look in the automotive world with a "correct" vehicle stance. H&R's commitment to producing a quality product allowed them to obtain TUV certification and the European performance spring market was born. All products are made in Germany and exceed ISO quality assurance standards.

Product Questions

I have a 93 Mustang Cobra and I recently installed a brand new set of H&R SPORT springs. These springs claim to lower the car some, but I don't see any drop at all. Will these settle some and lower the vehicle a bit more after a couple weeks of driving?
