Mustang 6 Cylinder Engine Gauge Feed to Firewall Wiring Harness (1966) Installation Instructions

1. To start the installation of your new Mustang Alloy Metal Products 66GF6 6 Cylinder Engine Gauge Feed to Firewall Wiring Harness, disconnect the battery cables.
2. Disconnect the old wiring. It may be beneficial to disconnect each plug as you approach it during the installation of the new Mustang gauge feed wiring. Be careful when disconnecting the wiring from the firewall plug so that you do not damage the firewall plug.
3. Connect the new Alloy Metal Products wiring harness to the plug on the rear firewall.

4. Attach the wiring harness to the oil pressure sending unit and to the Mustang ignition coil.

5. Attach the wire plug to the Mustang temperature sending unit, located on the rear of the engine, closest to the rear firewall.

6. Run the wiring harness along the rear firewall, attaching with Mustang wire clips. The old wire clips are pried open using a flat head screw driver. Wire clips can be reused if not damaged. Simply place the female grommet hole over the male plug and press evenly around the grommet using the flat head screw driver.
7. Attach harness to the heater fan wires, making sure the wire colors match up.

8. Run the wire loom along the passenger side firewall attaching with wire clips and then attach to the wires for the Mustang starter solenoid.

9. When all wiring is completed, remember to reattach the battery cables to complete the installation of your new Mustang Alloy Metal Products 66GF6 6 Cylinder Engine Gauge Feed to Firewall Wiring Harness.
