Interior Dye 1965-1973 is rated 1.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not flex. Flakes off... Hire a pro I used this on center console lid and steering wheel pad. Did not stick well and had no flexibility. Immediately cracked and fell off. Hired a professional and he said usually these rattle cans are good quality. He even resprayed the parts with it after treating them. Did the same thing for him. So, the professional mixed his own dye and resprayed which has super flex and looks great. Don't bother with the dyes. Hire a pro. As for repainting ABS plastic... that you can do yourself and do well. The ABS paints sold at CJP are fine.

I have a 64- 1/2 Mustang with a white headliner. It is in good shape but could use a refresher. Is the white vinyl dye the correct item to use? I am going to be ordering sun visors also and would the white color match the white vinyl dye? Thank you.

Asked by: bicycleinspokane
I would not recommend using a spray on dye on a headliner, try an upholstery cleaner. Its hard to tell if a spray on dye will match new or existing upholstery without testing it.

will this paint work on 1964 1/2 package tray

Asked by: skips stang
I believe it is hard plastic, so yes, it would work. If it would happen to be vinyl, you'd want dye.
