I tried the medium blue metalic lac08 by Accumatch on my 1971 Mustang interior trim and it was so for off I wouldn't even paint but one piece. I called and complained, got no results, but to return it. I thought maybe I got a bad batch. I tried another company with the same brand. If you like midnight blue thats the color you'll get. Its not a decent match almost purple. have not found a good match yet
This interior lacquer is really easy to use. I'm restoring a driver '67 Coupe. It's Lime Gold w/Ivy Gold interior. Since it wasn't a "standard" color (i.e. black), I was really worried about matching. This is a perfect match! This really exceeded my expectations!
Not all paints offered here come from the same manufacturer. I had medium blue interior paint from Rainbow Industries and it was HORRIBLE. Watery, poor coverage, runs, just terrible. I found the same color offered by Accumatch and took a chance on them. What a difference! The Accumatch was everything the product from Rainbow was not. I don't know if all the colors from Rainbow are the same or if just medium blue is awful, but I would never take a chance on them again in the future at this price. (BTW, I see that CJ doesn't even offer the medium blue anymore, I assume due to compliants)
