Easily one of JLT Performance's most popular products, their oil separator will help keep oil out of your intake. While your engine is in the process of venting crankcase pressure back through your intake track, large amounts of oil, in the form of vapors, can coat your intake runners, throttle body and even dilute your gas, lowering its octane level. And a lower octane rating means less power!
Milled from solid billet aluminum with a black or clear anodized finish, this is a rock solid piece. It has a knurled tank base for easy removal to drain the spent oil and an O-ring seal to prevent any leaks. JLT took this unit a step further and added a Ford Motorcraft metal mesh PCV Pre-Filter element. This element collects the last bit of oil droplets and drains back into the tank when the engine is shut down. JLT has also included a factory PCV hose for an easy plug and play installation.

*Will NOT fit superchargers.
*The tank holds 2 oz. of fluid, while that may not sound like a lot, you shouldn't see that much oil in your PCV system. Drain it every oil change and you will never come close to filling it.
*Most of the oil will come from the passenger side, so if only getting one oil separator, this is the one to get!

The JLT separator I have installed on my '15 GT does not have threaded holes on top for a bracket and is rubbing on the coolant tank. Is there a bracket available to secure it and eliminate this movement?
Do you sell one for the driver side, satin? I love the one I bought for the passenger.

Seen that these were made for the ecoboost f150 but did not see one for the Mustang, is there a reason for this?

This JLT performance oil separator is going to mount to the passenger side of your 2015 Mustang. There are versions for both the driver and passenger but between the two the passenger definitely draws a lot more oil through than the driver's side does. JLT makes the installation very easy by using factory Ford tubes and factory Ford fittings making it a very easy installation.
The oil separator itself is a billet aluminum housing that will hold two ounces of oil. While that may sound like a lot, two ounces is plenty for this application. JLT features a narrow bottom making it easy to unthread and drain out. They also use a Ford factory PCV pre-filter which will hold the oil before draining it into the container.
When I got my new 2015 Mustang I knew the JLT oil separator was going to be one of the first modifications I was going to do. When I had my 2011 last summer I took the car cross country. When I got out West I checked it, I had almost a quarter inch of oil in the bottom of the container. I drained it out and when I got home, almost the same amount. The JLT truly works.
Because the JLT uses the factory Ford line with the factory fitting, the installation is actually a breeze. There's no tools required. We'll start over here on the passenger's side valve cover. To remove the passenger's side valve cover, simply push up on the gray clip and it will slide right off. The other side of the intake release is the same way but you will have to pop the intake cover up to get your arm in there. Here you can see the stock line verse the oil separator. Again you can see stock Ford lines make for very easy OEM installation. Again here just slide on to hear it click into place. That's all there is to it.
The JLT oil separator looks OEM when it's installed and knowing how valuable it was on my 2011 made it a must have on my 2015 as well. Installation couldn't be easier, it will only take you a couple of minutes you'll be back on the road in no time.
