The dark wood grain is a pretty close match to my '70 dark walnut. However,it's a high gloss finish which doesn't match the factory finish. The heater control hole was not cut square and the DIN hole was not wide enough for the radio mounting sleeve to slide into and the top edge of the hole bowed down. It's made out of some kind of thin relatively soft plastic. I do lots of plastic scale modeling so, rather than sending it back and getting another with the same problem, I fixed it myself. I scribed lines on the back of the panel to go by. Used an Exacto knife with a new blade and a small flat file. It's the only show in town if you want to install a modern stereo. If you're handy with an Exacto knife and a file, fix it yourself. The plastic cuts easy so make small cuts, file and test fit.
