will this set work with a 1 inch drop spring front and rear
Will these shocks work if i did the shelby drop and lowered the upper control arm one inch?

I am planning on lowering my 66 mustang to suit 215x45/17" and 235x45/17 tyres. Are these shocks OK or do you recommend the Koni Classic kit?
A guy named Eaton, on uTube, said that my '65 coupe (originally came with a 6, now has a '84 302 HO, w/ aluminum heads; 3 speed manual, changed to '96-5 speed manual) should not use gas shocks as designed for hydraulics. Sup w/that.
