Rated 5 out of 5 by from Restored ride height right where I wanted. Great affordable kit for replacing sagging springs. Ride height is right where I wanted after settling. Maybe just a little stiffer than stock but only have a few miles on them and have not driven with more than me and one passenger in the car. If you often drive with four people in your car, you may want a stiffer spring. I was one of the lucky ones to get the old springs out easily. This new leaf spring kit bolted right up with no issues.

These are a standard duty leaf spring. These qualify for free shipping, they would take 3-4 day's to receive.

I have a '66 mustang 289 convertible. Is the 4 spring kit (LSK1) the same as factory? Stong enough to have 2 adults in rear? Is the LS9 (5 leaf) the same factory height? How much more weight will they hold?

The LSK1 will be factory style, the LS9 will lower the car 1 inch, if your looking for a spring to hold more load than LSK4 is a 5 leaf that is factory height but stiffer ride.

I want to change my sagging rear springs.  What is the difference between the LSK1, LSK10, and the LSK12?

LSK1 is your basic standard reproduction. LSK12 is the same thing, just premium quality. LSK10 is premium quality, but lighter duty springs for owners looking for a softer ride.

The OEM spring rate for a 65 "GT" Coupe is different than a standard 65 Mustang Coupe. Will these meet my requirement for a 4 leaf spring?

What is the measurement from center of the front bolt to the center of the rear bolt for the LSK1 leaf spring kit? I want to make sure I have the correct once when I order and that when they restored the car they didn't change out some of the suspension.

By Bill Tumas: We're here with our replacement leaf spring kit for 1964 through 1966 Mustang Coupe, Convertible, and Fastback. Our leaf spring kit is going to come with everything you need to replace that common rear suspension sag found in early Mustangs. Our kit comes with two ready to install stock rate replacement leaf springs, a pair of rubber shackles, brand new front bolts, and correct width U-bolts.

This is our replacement leaf spring kit installed on a 1965 Mustang Coupe. You can see the new front bolts installed here. Many times originals rust and you can simply cut them off to remove them. Our leaf springs come with the bushing pre-installed, simply put it in place and bolt it in.

Here you can see the U-bolt kit installed to the rear shock plate over the rear. Our kit comes with the correct U-bolts for the tapered rear on the '64 through '66 cars. The shock plate's not included with the kit, but we do offer them if you need them.

Here you can see the rubber shackles installed. They install just like the factory ones, one piece goes through your frame rail and the other one bolts through the leaf spring. Our replacement leaf spring kit is not only going to give your car the correct ride height, it's also going to improve your ride quality as well.
