What is the spacing on the mounting holes? Do they line up with the original transmission tunnel threaded holes?

Is there a secret to help keeping the new rubber boot from tearing when trying to install the chrome bezel ? Thanks last time I installed one the new boot tore so waste of time thanks for any advice

Try pushing in on the corners of the bellows when installing the trim.

How do I install this on a 4 speed with lock out levers?

You can unbolt the shifter lever from the shifter linkage, there are two bolts, and carefully stretch it over the bottom of the shifter lever.

The boot bolts to the floor under the carpet and the metal trim fits over the boot above the carpet.

What are the dimensions of the chrome bezel. I need as large a bezel as possible to cover up a 65 mustang coupe carpet mess up (not mine)? If a bigger one exists, could you pls recommend it.
