Product Description

Master Power 11" Two Piston Disc Brake Conversion Kit with Spindles for 1967, 1968, 1969, 1970, 1971, 1972 and 1973 Mustangs.

Add some late model function to your early model Mustang with this two-piston disc brake conversion kit from Master Power. Includes everything necessary to convert to front disc brakes.

This kit requires the use of minimum 15" wheels, however not all 15" wheels will fit. The calipers used in this kit are much larger than the original style calipers and will require more caliper to wheel-face / spoke clearance.

Conversion Kit Includes:
- Late model 2 piston calipers with 11" slotted rotors
- Fully assembled on spindles ready to install
- New bearings and seals installed along with new dust caps
- New soft brakes hoses
- New Outer Tie Rods

*Will not work with Styled Steel or Magnum 500 wheels.

The description above says this should come with combination valve and bracket.  Mine did not come with a combination valve and bracket however, it did come with two tie rod ends.  Why the tie rods ends and no combination valve?

Asked by: aparrothead
We checked on this for you and learned that the description is wrong. The tie rod ends are correct for the kit, while the combination valve does not come with the kit. We're updating that on our site.

I have the original dual master cylinder, do I need a different master cylinder to work with these brakes or will the stock one be sufficient?

Asked by: aparrothead
If it is a dual bowl master cylinder for original disc brakes you do not need to upgrade. If it is from an original drum brake setup then you will want to upgrade to a disc brake specific master cylinder.

Will the US Mag wheels fit?  I would like to know which fit before I order.

Asked by: parrotthead
They ought to, but that's entirely dependent on which ones you want. Once you choose a product, our sales team can tell you if it would fit with this brake system.

Which 15" wheels will work?  Is the backspace the reason the styled steel and Magnus 500 wheels won't work?

Asked by: aparrotthead
It's the calipers that cause the interference, and, yes, the backspacing is the key measurement. Many of the 15-inch wheels would work, just not the ones listed.
