Master Power Brake Booster Conversion Kit for all 1965-1966 Mustangs with an Automatic Transmission, Front and Rear Disc Brakes or Front Disc Brake and Rear Drum Brake Setups.

Do you feel the old, stock disc or disc and drum brake set up in your 1965-1966 Mustang is too outdated and perhaps lacks the stopping power necessary to feel completely safe? If you don't mind making some progressive modifications that sacrifice an all original restoration or composition, then this Master Power Brake Booster Conversion Kit for all 1965-1966 Mustangs with an Automatic Transmission is just for you!

This brake booster conversion kit has an all aluminum master cylinder and reservoir with a booster mounting bracket and a firewall also included. Compatible for Mustangs with front and rear disc brakes or front disc brake and rear drum brake setups, the dual diaphragm power booster measures 7" in length and has an attached 1-1/8" bore dual bowl master cylinder with a resrvoir. This is a quality product that will complete the brake conversion relatively easily and perform reliably. The front bolt securing the master cylinder cap for the reservoir will be located under the cross brace after performing this upgrade.

Product Questions

On a master power brake conversion  dual bowl kit-where do you pick up the vacuum. Do you put a vacuum hose to the brake booster???   Does a vacuum line come from the  carb and attach to the brake booster?? Are their intstructions with a brake conversion.

You will connect the vacuum hose to the booster, check valve and obtain vacuum from the intake manifold or the back of the carburetor. Use the supplied 90 degree fitting to obtain vacuum from the intake manifold. There are instructions linked above.

Will this product work on a 66 mustang with drum front and drum rear brakes?

No, it will NOT work with a drum front and rear setup. If you had disc brakes all the way around or disc in the front with drum in the back then it would work.

Am I correct in assuming that this will bolt into the current master cylinder location and in the two bolts above the current master cylinder. 66 Coupe, V8, Auto. Thanks

Right now the brake lines come in on the right side of the master cylinder on my car. With this product they will enter on the left side. Do you carry brake lines that are long enough to make this conversion?
