Maximum Motorsports Bumpsteer Kit for all 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 Mustangs. The factory tie rod geometry on 2005-2014 Mustangs produces a significant amount of bumpsteer. Maximum Motorsport's Bumpsteer Kit is a bolt-on upgrade that, when adjusted correctly, will dramatically reduce understeer and improve stability along with overall handling.
Bumpsteer is the change in front toe settings as the suspension moves up and down. Although an alignment allows the toe to be set at your Mustang's normal ride height, it can't account for the change in toe setting during suspension compression and rebound. As the suspension arcs, the toe setting will change. The Maximum Motorsports Bumpsteer Kit uses adjustable tie rod ends to try and eliminate bumpsteer. Spacers are arranged between the tie rod and spindle to achieve the best toe setting throughout the suspension's movement.
Features and Benefits:
- Bolt-on installation
- Heat treated tapered stud with rolled threads
- Spacer bushings made from thick wall steel
- Includes a variety of spacers with different thicknesses
- Anodized aluminum adapter sleeve
- Hex on adapter sleeve is easily accessible
Maximum Motorsport offers one of the best bumpsteer kits on the market for your 2005-2014 Mustang. Each part of the kit is engineered to offer durability and functionality. Tapered studs are heat treated and threads are rolled instead of machined for maximum strength. The longer spacers are made from thick wall steel to ensure they won't buckle when the 5/8" nut is properly tightened. Aluminum adapter sleeves are anodized to resist corrosion. The hex on the adapter is placed on the inner end of the aluminum sleeve to clear the tire for quick adjustments.
The stock tie rod geometry on the 2005-2014 Mustangs produces a significant amount of bumpsteer to increase understeer when the car is pushed hard into a corner. Excessive bumpsteer is very noticeable when you lower your Mustang.
Maximum Motorsports Bumpsteer Kit fits both 2005-2010 Mustang steering racks and 2011-2014 Mustang electric power steering racks.

I have a 2011 Mustang and I'm looking at your bump steer kit for it. I hit a bump and it might pull to the right and the next time maybe to the left. Also, it feels like the steering wants to go where IT wants.
