Product Description

Maximum Motorsports Aluminum Rack & Pinion Bushing Set for 1984-2004 Mustangs Build After 10/1984.

This set of bushings is required when installing a steering rack with a Maximum Motorsports K-member. Fits both power and manual steering racks.

Constructed from anodized 6061 aluminum alloy. Solidly mounts the steering rack, eliminating movement allowed by rubber or urethane bushings.

Benefits:
-Improved steering response
-Allows offsetting the steering rack upwards or downwards
-Aids bumpsteer correction or clearance improvement for large oil pans
-Unique design prevents twisting and binding of the rack

Features:
-Offset mounting holes allow stock, +2 or -2 rack positioning
-Unique, precision-machined spherical shape prevents twisting

*Install only with an adjustable bumpsteer kit in place of the stock outer tie-rod ends.
*MMST-8 spacer kit required for manual steering racks installed on Mustangs with a 5.0L-based engine.
*For use with a Maximum Motorsports K-member ONLY!
