Product Description

Modern Driveline Transmission Crossmember to fit 1965-1966 Mustangs with T5 Transmission Conversions.

Modern Driveline's crossmembers allow the use of late model 5 speed transmissions in your vintage Mustang. If you’re looking for the stellar combination of modern driveability and classic looks and feel in your Pony, then Modern Driveline is here to help make that a reality. The best part about Modern Driveline's transmission crossmember is that it offers more exhaust clearance than the competition while being one of the strongest and most reliable options available.

Used in conjunction with the original 1965-1973 transmission mount, this crossmember features a durable powder-coated black finish. Mounting hardware is included to make installation as easy as pie once your Mustang is up on the lift.

*Includes parking brake bracket.

Modern Driveline Transmission Crossmember T-5 Conversion 1965-1966 is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressed by quality I haven't installed it yet, but I'm very impressed with the build quality. It looks like they made some improvements to help it stucturally. The welding is excellent and it looks like a high quality crossmember. It is better than expected based on catalog pictures.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Fit I used this part to replace a jerry rigged cross member on my 1965 Mustang and it fit great. Transmission mount (p/n TM2253) worked great with part. Everything fits snug and securely, the way it should.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does the job Good quality piece fit is precise, it seems that it raised tranny up a little more than the stock decline angle. Other wise I'm happy with it

Product Questions

Do you have a crossmember that will work for a 1995 mustang t5 installed in a 1965 mustang?

Asked by: Tim40
We do not offer a conversion crossmember specific for the 94-95 t-5, this may require some modification to fit correctly.

No, it would not.

Will this work with the 1995 mustang 5.0 drive train with a T5? This is the year that they altered them slightly. It is going into a 1966 Mustang coupe. Thanks Brad

Asked by: Hecy
I'm not sure what you're trying to do here - is this product going on a 1995 GT? If so, it won't work. There's too much difference between models. If it's going into a 1966 Mustang, it ought to work.
