Mustang Monte Carlo Bar Curved Black 1965-1966
Black Curved Monte Carlo Bar for 1965-1966 Mustangs.
The Monte Carlo bar was developed by Carroll Shelby to stop shock tower flex and maintain proper wheel alignment during hard cornering. This extra support also helps prevent shock tower stress cracks. Curved design allows for extra clearance for oval air cleaners and aftermarket distributors.
*When installing a Monte Carlo bar on 1965-1966 Convertibles, you must remove the factory tubular engine compartment bracing.

Monte Carlo Bar
I am restoring a 1965 Mustang GT 350 Vintage Race Car and installed this curved Monte Carlo to fit an MSD electronic distributor. It worked great and stiffened the body for racing. Tom Brooks
