Avoid this frame rail

I wish I would have seen the earlier review, and the one review of the passenger side Mr. Mustang rail, prior to purchase. I may have still risked the purchase, but these parts are a waste of money. On he other hand, I have had very good luck with CJ Pony and everything Dynacorn has fit very well. These frame rails however have poor fitment and substandard welds between the separate pieces. Additionally, these rails do not have the factory brackets and attachment points that other similar products all have. For example, these rails do not have the axle bumper brackets which cost an additional $50.00 from Mr. Mustang. Even those brackets are poor substitutes for the originals. This part is a very poor value for the money and should be avoided.

Don't waste your money.

Just as the others reviews state these rails are missing all the brackets [=extra cost]. The welds are a pitiful mess, thin, poor quality, and poorly finished. I re-welded all the welds. The leaf spring mounting point on mine was nowhere near correct. The holes were so misaligned that the bolt would not pass through the leaf spring and pass through the other hole. The holes were about a 1/2" off from each other. I wound up using a carbide burr and opening up the outer hole so that I could get the spring mounted. After all this it just isn't worth the headache. I am going to order a quality piece that includes the brackets. I will avoid the Mr. Mustang brand in the future.

Poor welds

What you are buying is three separate pieces here... not one solid rail. True, this is a cheaper option than purchasing the pieces individually, but the welds that held it together were ugly and weak. The friend I had installing these wasn't comfortable using their welds, and ended up rewelding the pieces on both sets of frame rails (I purchased the driver and passenger side full rails). It ended up costing me another $300+ in additional fabrication. If you are able to weld and can fix them yourself, it probably isn't a big deal, but if you have to pay someone to do it for you, be prepared to either have poor welds or paying extra to have them 'fixed' so they will last.
