This direct-fit replacement parking brake shoe link is made out of steel for a quality replacement part. It measures 6-7/8" long and will fit either driver or passenger side. It will install using the OE factory hardware. CJ's recommends replacing both the driver side and passenger side at the same time to make installation easier. The parking brake shoe link fits between the rear brake shoes on V8 Mustangs with drum brakes. The link then connects to the parking brake lever below the brake cylinder.

*Two required per car.
*Intended for Mustangs with a V8 engine and 10" drum brakes.

Parking Brake Shoe Link 10" V8 1965-1973 is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Hard to find anywhere! Finally checked CJ for these to use on a 72 Torino. These are clean bare steel. Had to file the parking lever gap a touch.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Beggar can't be a Chooser! DA "me" gave mine a pitch when I was rebuilding the rear end. Can't find these anywhere locally in parts stores >> Or as I like to refer as "Should be one isle in Walmart like Radio Shack is now." Anyway, with some cutting, grinding and deburring they will work fine. PS if you need these you might need the brake wheel cylinder pins as well.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It could of be better When I gotten the parking brake link> I had to do a lot of trimming so I could make this work for the rear brake shoes
