Parking Light LED Kit 1965-1966 is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great lights, needs upgraded indicator Installed these lights and flasher in about an hour, but noticed that both of them were flashing at the same time. My '65's single turn signal indicator is wired between the lights from the factory, connecting the circuits. Removing the indicator bulb fixed that issue, but now I either need to wire it to directional indicator lights or buy an LED indicator. Kits for non-GT 65s should come with this indicator, which is included in the LED instrument cluster light kit.

Product Questions

These LED parking/signal only flash like hazard lights and don't signal left and right.  We then installed the LED brake/signal lights which included a new flasher unit.  They work great but the parking/signal lights still flash like hazard lights.

Asked by: jeff0mustang
On non-GT 65s with idiot lights, the turn signal indicator bulb is wired between the front turn signal lights. Removing the indicator bulb or replacing it with a 2-element, grounded LED indicator separates the circuits so they flash separately.

Will those kit work with SDTLLED1? I see this has a relay but SDTLLED1 has its own designed relay for the sequential tail lights.

Asked by: Djnealy
They'll work together, but you'll need relays on both, which are included in both kits.

What is the third wire at the back of the light housing for please?

Asked by: Bmcdee
That would be the ground wire. The moulded end gets plunged into the corresponding moulded end in the harness behind or below your headlight. There should be another female plug for the ground.
