engine has .472.496 lift on cam, w/top end kit. 380HP, 380TQ. I want this transmission but only need 1800-2000 stall. What PA part # should I order for the torque converter? It is in a 64.5 Mustang w/5 bolt bell housing. "D" code engine.

Asked by: Jeff52
We do not offer a convertor with that stall speed, I would recommend contacting PA Automatic and see if they offer a torque convertor with your specs.

Will this transmission or even a regular v8 c4 work on my 65 mustang with a 200 inline 6, if I use the original bellhousing and inline 6 torque converter?

Asked by: rammmit
The input shaft may be different, after 1970 all c-4 transmissions were built the same, before 1970 the c-4's were different internally from 6 to 8 cylinder's.
