Hi folks , I have a 1956 F100 and I am putting in a 1986 ford truck 351w motor . Will the early 68 to74 point style distributor fit and work in my truck 351w .I want to convert to petronix system while using points & condenser as a back up . Dan .

Yes it should work, just be sure to check the distributor lengths from the base to the gear and bottom of the shaft.
