Power Brake Booster Conversion Kit for 1965-1966 Mustangs with Front Disc, Rear Disc Brakes and an Automatic Transmission.
Are you converting your manual brakes on your 1965-1966 Mustang to a more reliable power brake system? If so you might be interested in this high quality Power Brake Booster Conversion Kit today at CJ Pony Parts. This Power Brake Booster Conversion Kit replaces the manual brake assembly and uses a Bendix style power brake booster.
- 9” Power Brake Booster
- 1-1/8" Bore Master Cylinder
- Bottom Mount Universal Proportioning Valve
- Includes Pre-bent Lines to Master Cylinder
- Built in Residual Valve
- Zinc Bottom Mount Bracket
- Mounting Hardware
Please Note: This booster requires a minimum of 15 pounds of engine vacuum pressure at idle for maximum stopping power.
The Power Brake Booster features increased brake sensitivity, and includes a large capacity dual chamber master cylinder. The dual chamber master cylinder increases safety by supplying brake pressure to the front and rear brakes individually. The nice thing about the dual chamber is if you lose your front brakes you still have the ability to stop your 1965-1966 Mustang with the rear brakes. The proper push rod is preset for the correct pedal height but it can be adjusted for driver comfort.
