Power Brake Booster To Firewall Seal for 1969, 1970, 1971, 1972 and 1973 Mustangs with a Bendix Style Brake Booster. The brake booster is bolted straight to the firewall so any moisture that gets behind the booster may enter the car. This seals the open space between the brake booster and firewall. Any moisture or liquid running down the firewall will be stopped from entering your Mustang's cabin.
If you notice wetness under the pedals or on the driver's side floor, this seal may need replaced. Seals tend to become brittle after time and should be replaced to ensure a dry interior.
This seal fits Bendix style boosters only. Bendix boosters are constructed with two halves that are crimped together. This seal will NOT fit a Midland booster which has a clamp around the middle.

Fits perfectly on a '70 mustang with the Bendix booster. Also a good template to cut the firewall for a stock style power disc brake conversion. The firewall must be trimmed for a stock booster. So if that,s what your project is like mine, you need this. And check into it, the '70 has a unique one year only brake pedal. Just so you know.
Both a friend of mine and I both ordered this part for our 1973 mustangs. None of the holes line up and it is not for this years!!!
It's only a small part and not very expensive, but the only place I could find one was with CJ Pony Parts - Keep up the good work as these smaller parts can make or brake a resto project and stop you going insane trying to find one!! well done.
