Pro-5.0 Manual Shifter for 1983-2001 Mustangs with a T-5 or T-45 5-Speed Manual Transmission.

The Pro-5.0 manual shifter is considered the original; the measuring stick for all other shifters. The famous "offset-preload" coil springs find third gear for you, basically you can't miss 2nd to 3rd gear! Also, Pro-5.0 features adjustable positive stops to prevent over extending the shift lever, preventing costly transmission damage.

The Pro-5.0 shifter offers up to a 33% shorter throw than the factory unit. It includes a Pro-5.0 shifter handle. Unfortunately this shifter does NOT include a shift knob, however you can reuse your factory shift knob or use any shift knob with the correct 12mm X 1.75 thread pattern.

This will fit all 1983-2000 V8 Mustangs and some 2001 V8 Mustangs*. Also fits 1987-1993 4 Cylinder and 1994-2004 V6 Mustangs with manual transmissions.

*Tech Tip: If you have a 2001 Mustang, you must check your door tag to verify your correct transmission type.
6 = T-45
K = 3650

*This shifter will not work on the Tremec 3650 transmission. You must use MS21 if you have a Tremec 3650.
