COMP Cams Magnum 270HR Camshaft Set with an 1800 to 5000 RPM Range for 1985-1995 Mustangs with Carbureted 5.0L Engines.

This hydraulic roller camshaft will fit Ford 5.0 Liter engines from 1985-2001.

Magnum cams generate great high RPM power. The can be used with mild ratio rocker arms and traditional performance valve springs as they are easy on valve train parts. These camshafts like compression ratios of 9.5:1 and higher. A torque converter and gear change is really needed. The larger Magnum cams are a little lazy at low RPMs.

Gain a slight lope at idle with this mild street performance camshaft. This is a good stock HO replacement and works well with a stock torque converter and gears.
