BBK Black Out Fenderwell Cold Air Intake Kit for all 1986-1993 5.0L Mustangs with Mass Air.

BBK is pleased to announce their all new Performance "Black Out" Series Cold Air Intake Systems. These cold air intake systems feature a very unique matte black finish that will add a stealthy understated and different look under the hood of your Mustang.

As the originator of the first of these systems back in the early nineties, the famous BBK line continues to offer the leading edge quality and function that BBK customers expect. Each cold air intake model has been designed and dyno tested at the BBK headquarters in Southern California to maximize performance.

This BBK cold air intake system utilizes a high flow washable conical cotton element filter. By placing the filter in the fenderwell you get cooler air flow for increased horsepower and throttle response! All kits come complete with detailed installation sheets for an easy install with simple hand tools.

*Will fit 1986-1988 Mustangs that have upgraded to Mass Air, replacing Speed Density.

We’re here with BBK’s Fenderwell Mount Cold Air Kit for your ’86 through ’93 Mustang equipped with mass air. This cold air kit mounts your filter down your fenderwell where you get the coldest air possible; includes this block off plate for installation to your apron as well. The kit comes in a black powder coat finish, includes all the silicon couplers, and all the hardware needed for installation. I've always been into the color black. My bay is black with blue hoses/plug wires/ wire looms and wow was this thing a perfect match! A little patience, elbow grease and a little soap/water on filter housing/metal elbow goes a long way. Other than the filter itself the install was a breeze and it looks great.

I really like the black out look of this intake! My only criticism is that BBK kept the silver hose clamps instead of sending out black clamps with this kit. This just means that i am going to have to buy new black clamps to replace the chrome ones. Overall...great product, a nice addition to any 5.0!
