Unless you have some serious breathing mods on the intake side of your 'stang, a more complicated intake is nothing more than eye candy under the hood. This JLT kit keeps things simple, offering just an aluminum adapter plate, huge cone filter, and heatshield. Because my car is mostly stock power-wise, and because I wanted to retain the factory strut tower brace, the JLT was exactly what I was looking for, and it's an inexpensive option that does exactly what it's supposed to do. Throttle response has no lag, and the engine certainly sounds throatier under load since installing the kit, which only took about 20 minutes. If you're looking for an intake, save the extra money for other mods and go with this simple kit.
