Found my Roush Exhaust on CJPP for cheaper than anywhere else on a one day sale. I picked them up after reviewing several different brands, including Borla, Flowmaster, and MAC. Each boasted the same stats more or less, the main differences I saw were weight and price. Once received, these puppies were installed and ready to roll within 45 minutes between a friend and I (no, hadn't installed them before, just pretty straightforward with the instructions included) and haven't regretted it since! Definitely gives your ride that American Muscle sound you wish it had from the factory!
Great service and great product, Roush does it right!!! I just had the FRPP M-FR3-MGTA handling pack and FRPP M-9603-MGTB Pro-cal tuner and K&N Filter Pack installed at the Tasca Ford Mod Shop in Cranston, R.I. Those guys are GREAT, and really know what they are doing!!! My car now handles and goes on a different level than before these mods. I am very glad I had them installed!! Just as a bonus, Carl Tasca took my wife and I on whirlwind tour of his huge dealership and Ford Museum that he just started to put together. What a GREAT and GENEROUS person he is!!!! What a RUSH!!!! LOL mouser, and have fun everyone!!!!
awesome mufflers cant believe they're so cheap, everyone should get them
I got this for my 2012 Shelby 100% stock except hi-flo filter and intake resonator delete. The sound is a low rumble at idle and at low speed driving. They are quiet with zero drone at highway speeds, The only drawback to me is under heavy acceleration they are kinda raspy. The stock mufflers sounded smooth throughout the rpm range. I've heard this can get better with time. Oh well, they are much lighter than stock mufflers and are loud but not obnoxious "to me anyway", I'll learn to adjust..I you want a deep tone exhaust that screams when you open it up with quiet cruising and zero drone and can live with raspiness this system is for you..
These Roush mufflers are the best!!! I have a 2011 GT Premium white coupe with charcoal leather and the parchment stripes, 3.73, HID, Polished aluminum 18's, and some other low key stuff. Anyway, I've been watching muffler videos and driving my wife nuts for about 6 months. I finally narrowed it down to Roush or Hushpower Flowmasters. I wanted something a little aggressive. I've been interested in a particular clip with a grey GTCS covertible with a black convert roof. The Roush sound a little raspy on the video, but they are not at all bad. The comparison left me with the question, why is it everytime the sound clip for the Hushpower comes the guy has to really get into the throttle to make these things heard? When I got the Roush mufflers installed, I didn't even get out of my driveway and the neighbors were coming over to listen to my new "Songbird"!!! Sweet!!!! They are mellow but when you do get into the throttle you can tell, this thing means business. Have Fun, mouser!(These are a 10) Highly recomme
My initial call was with a salesperson named Tom. He was very efficient and friendly. He had most of the info needed for purchasing what I wanted. I went ahead and ordered my new Roush axle-backs. He told me they may take a while to get here, maybe 7-10 days, which was fine. I received them, happily in 6 days and installed them 2 days later in my driveway. Just happen to have an unusual 50 degree day here in MA. Anyway, everything went just great and I would definitely recommend CJPony Parts, to anyone buying anything for you Mustangs. Oh, by the way the mufflers went on without a hitch. They sound great and just from the weight reduction we should get better mileage and lower et's!!! The original mufflers have to weigh at least 70 pounds together. I put them together in a box and could barely lift them( I'm almost 65 yrs old). Still having fun!!!! Paul D. Snowbank, Mass. the measurements of the pipe is 2 1/2" and the tips are 4", Beautiful.
Picked up a 2013 GT last Wednesday ordered this axle back 10 P.M. that night, it was at my door by 3:30 P.M. on Friday, installed it last night. Only took me about an hour to swap it out. LOVE the sound, big weight difference too. Overall very happy with CJ Ponyparts service, and the Roush setup!!!
I called there 1800 phone number on a Friday. That Wednesday the Roush exhaust system was at my door, very quick shipping (and I'm in TX). I installed them the next day (with a lift) in about 1.2 hours. It comes with new clamps for exhaust, so don't worry about taking off the clamp from the OEM exhaust, which is welded on. All three hangers lined right up correctly and fit is perfect. The sound has no drone like other brands and turns heads when you give it the gas. I've had three other mustangs (all with Flowmaster) and the sound that comes out of the new Roush Exhaust will put a smile on your face!
This is by far the best exhaust for the 2011 5.0. Hands down the best sound with no drone and it is one of the cheapest! Dont wait, get these, you will not be disappointed.
Roush products are first rate. All the reviews are 5 star for good reason. Installation of the axle back exhaust kit took about an hour and the fit is perfect on our 2012 GT/CS. The exhaust sound is fantastic! Wow! They're quiet at highway speeds but emit a real nice growl when you "get on it." We own an 08 Roush Speedster and formerly owned a 69 Mustang GT Convertible and an 07 GT/CS. We had Flowmaster and Magnaflow exhaust on those vehicles and this Roush system is truly the best sounding of all! I highly recommend it.
I ordered this exhaust 12/30/12 at 1pm, exhaust was delivered next day at 9AM, unbelievable!! Exhaust sounds so good, no video on the internet does it justice! You have to hear it in person. I was researching exhausts for 2 months and I am glad i went with Roush. Very deep rumble at Idle, can barely hear them when cruising at around 2K RPM but downshift and all hell breaks loose. This what a muscle car should sound like out of the factory! Just so happy about this purchase. Thank you CJ Pony Parts for the extremely fast delivery and great service.
I am very glad i went with the roush awesome sound, no drone at highway speed at all, littlle at highway speed ,but at WOT it talks to yah
Very easy install, car sounds amazing. May be a little loud with an off road x pipe but I have the stock mid pipe so it sounds perfect.
If your looking for an axle back exhaust look no farther. I did a lot of research and Roush is the best bang for the buck. Went to CJ's and picked it up. Installed myself in about one hour. Fired it up and all I can say is I still can't get this stupid grin off my face. I fell in love with my 13 GT all over again. You can cruise along fairly quiet but drop the hammer and heads turn quick to see what that was...I love the sound, what the coyote was ment to sound like
Best "Bang for your Buck". The videos don't serve this exhaust any justice, must hear it in person. Easy install, excellent fit/finish and sounds amazing. Tame while cruising but roars to life under load. I haven't listened to the radio since the install. The gargling/crackling on downshifts and pops between shifts is all I need to hear. Very impressed with the extremely fast shipping from CJponyparts, also had the lowest price with free shipping too.
The Roush axle-back exhaust system is the best ever made for a Mustang. It's easy to install, sounds great and doesn't drone at higher speeds. Every 5.0L Mustang should have a set of these exhausts on them. Just starting your car will command attention. You'll get more attention as your accelerating down the street or highway.
After listening to sounds clips for months it came down to Roush and Borla. I decided to go with Roush from CJ Pony Parts. The service from CJPP was great. The sound from the Roushs are unbelievable. Everyone comments how great my 5.0 sounds. The sound is addicting! When cruising there is no drone and the sound from the mufflers are bearly noticable. Step on it though and it is a different story. This is the first mod to my 5.0 and I could not be happier.
I highly recommend this exhaust system. 1. It is a perfect fit that is easy to install. The hardest part of the install is pulling the stock exhaust off the hangers. Once you get the stock exhaust off, it took 15 minutes total to put the Roush exhaust on. 2. Roush does Mustangs. They are a reputable company and so I felt comfortable putting them on my mustang. 3. Last but not least, they sound absolutely amazing. WHen you get into the throttle, everyone within a mile will know. I know this because my buddies heard me coming into their neighborhood. BUT when you are cruising, there is very little cabin noise. You have the best of both worlds. It is nice not having the annoying hum inside the car everywhere you go. And not to mention, when you can get these things 10% off at CJPonyparts, they are well worth the price. I am constantly turning heads and getting compliments on how the car sounds. Pair with the Roush cold air intake when they have the 10% off specials and you'll pick up both
Bought the Roush axle-back for my 13 GT. It is worth every penny. The system is as quiet as stock while cruising on the highway, but it is loud when you get on it.
