Lower Cowl Panel for 1965-1966 Mustangs.
The lower cowl panel typically suffers from severe rust at the ‘cowl hats’ where the fresh air vents attach to. Now you can finally repair that damaged or severely rusted lower cowl panel without replacing the entire cowl vent panel assembly!
This reproduction cowl panel is a great alternative, made from stamped steel and features factory dimensions.

Lots of work but perfect fit
My original cowl panel was basically gone. It took a lot of time (and patience) to find all the spot welds and remove what was left ot it. The new Cowl Panel fit perfect. However I would recommend to purchase the complete set (upper and lower)in case your upper panel is damaged during the removal. I would also recommend to custom make a drain plug so the new panel does not end up looking like the original.
