Product Description

Late Model 5.0 Swap Conversion Crankshaft Damper for 1965-1969 Mustang's.

Original early 289 / 302 engines have a 28 Oz. balance. Late model 5.0 engines have a 50 Oz. balance. If you swap over your early timing cover and accessories and want to make the late 5.0 engine use a v-belt then you must use a conversion damper like this one. Using the late damper will throw off your pulleys and trying to use the original early damper will damage the engine!
