Don't get left on the side of the road with a empty fuel tank. A faulty sending unit can make your fuel gauge read inaccurately. The fuel level sending unit mounts in the fuel tank. Features a 3/8" hose fitting.

Includes o-ring for a proper seal.

Seems to work fine.
This came in the gas tank kit I bought. It installed easily and sealed well. I put 4 gallons in the tank and it read 1/4 tank which is just what it should do. `

While you have it out
This new sending unit was a good price and installed in 30 minutes. I did have a problem with the plastic float. It had a crack in it and was filling up with gas and causing the full gauge to read empty all the time. I purchased a brass float and swapped it out. Haven't have a problem since.
