I installed this kit into my 73 Mustang Fastback. My old tank had seen better days. This is a good kit and I found if fairly simple to make the swap. Make sure you drive your car and empty the old fuel tank as much as possible till gauge reads as close to E as possible. (You will thank me for this tip). I would also recommend you replace the old rubber fuel lines while the tank is empty. Buy some additional 3/8 rubber fuel line about 3.5 feet should do the job. You need about 7 or 8 inches of fuel line for the tank to metal fuel line and then 2.5 feet to replace the fuel tank vent line (Top of tank). You will use the old tank retaining rings for the vent and the float if you are careful when you remove them (Careful no sparks). Be sure not to damage the old rings when you remove them from the tank. You will also need an additional vent gasket that this "kit did not include".
