Replace your stock hood prop rod with the QuickLIFT Plus hood strut system from Redline Tuning. You'll love the additional engine bay access you will gain with Redline Tuning's QuickLIFT system installed. Made from the highest quality components, this is their latest design utilizing a patented end-fitting for the fender mounting point making them very easy to install.

Look mom no stick
Best money ever spent. After I installed the struts, I was impressed when I opened the hood with no effort at all. I barely opened it 5 inches and it went up on its own. Installation was a breeze. The only thing I worry about is that the part that bolts on to the hood is not reinforced and that in the future it might bend the hood in the point of connection. Being that there is no reinforcement bracket. I was not happy with the part where you have to relocate the sound tube and mount it under the same edge. It did not fit flush so I had to modify it. I cut off the wedge so it would fit flat on the fender mounting holes. See photo.
