Trufiber Unpainted Fiberglass GTS-3 Hood for 2005-2009 V6 Mustangs and Mustang GTs.
Designed with the driver and car enthusiast in mind to give you the best in show and off-road performance. An exact fit for your 2005-2009 Mustang, this hood installs easily and securely using the OEM hood latch and hood hinges. Made from show quality hand-laid fiberglass with a smooth gel coat finish. Will require priming and painting prior to installation.
Features:
-Fully functional built-in ram air (cool air enters front scoop and directs to OEM air box)
-Reinforced metal latch & hinge plates
-Integrated stainless mesh grilles
-Optional recessed indents for Trufiber hood locks
-Pre-drilled prop rod & windshield nozzle holes
*HDT106 requires aftermarket hood pins.
*HDT107 requires Trufiber hood pin kit.

Hood Lock Indents Don't Match Up
We bought the hood with the pre-indented holes on top for the Trufiber twist locks. The holes where the locks go in do not match the metal base frame near the headlights. We are going to have to pay to have an extra 1/4" plate welded on to the frame so the base of the lock can be secured and bolted on.
Hood
Got the hood without the pre drilled holes. Had it painted and instaled and was the best fitting hood. No problems with it, fit grean with no adjusments. Great product. Really sets the car apart from the others.
