SilverHorse Racing Remote Trunk Release Kit for 2005-2009 Mustangs.We are not sure why a trunk release was not included from the factory on 2005-2009 Mustangs, but now that problem can be solved! This kit from SilverHorse Racing includes a factory trunk release switch, soldered connections and heat shrunk protection of the terminal ends.
Installation requires one hole to be drilled in the glove box interior and gives your trunk release switch an OE-style install. All wiring is done in the front passenger area of the car. No wire cutting or wiring to the rear of the car is required. Full instructions are included.

This is the missing part. Very easy to install. I opted to install on driver's side with headlamp controls. This makes it easy to open without climbing in car. Just remember, it will open the trunk with the car in gear, you are bypassing the lockout that the key fob uses.
This is one upgrade that everyone should do. It looks just like it was there from the factory. It's easy to install.
Great product - easy to follow instructions and OEM install. It only takes a few minutes to install.
