I felt the installation of the fire wall was not that bad. the one down falll that I found is that ther was no angel on the kick pan to the inside rocker. I have been asking for advice from severall body shops in the area I am a retired army mecahnic but have no sheet metal exsperiance, but at 65$ and hour I will try myself. I have a long way to go on my 19666 coupe but I am proud of what I have done on my own so far. I just hope that it doesn"t go down the road sideways when i am done.
This is a pretty nice piece for aftermarket but it has issues. The biggest one I noticed is the heater holes are 1 1/2 inch diameter while the factory had 1 inch diameter holes.
I contacted CJ's and all they could say was that I was the first one to complain about this, but I was in fact correct... Only thing I got back from them was that all firewalls are like this and all distributors have the same problem... No reassurance that the issue would be resolved for the future. Also was told the description would be changed on this site to mention the issue... As you can see it has not been.
