Pair of Ford Racing Upgraded Front Strut Mounts for all 2005-2014 Mustangs.
Original equipment on the 2011-2012 Shelby GT500 Track Pack option. Will fit 2005-2014 V6 and GT Mustangs, as well as 2007-2012 Shelby GT500s. Increased durometer.

We’re here with the Ford Racing 2011 GT500 Strut Mount kit. These strut mounts were factory on any GT500 order with the SVT performance pack option. It would make an excellent upgrade for any 2005 and newer Mustang GT or V6. The strut mount is exactly that; it allows the strut to attach the body of your Mustang. The strut's going to come through the center here; these four bolts are going to attach it to your shock tower.
Underneath, the spring's going to ride on this rubber plate. The plate has ball bearings allowing for movement. Over time, they can dry out and cause some noise in your suspension. The GT500 version has much larger bearings, making it a heavy-duty upgrade for both a Mustang GT or a V6. If you're getting a clunking noise from the front end of your 2005 or newer Mustang, many times the strut mounts going to be culprit. If you're looking to upgrade your suspension with aftermarket struts and aftermarket springs, a set of heavy duty strut mounts is a must have.

Get Rid of the Clunk!
If you are doing struts or springs ... this is the replacement strut mounts you want. Better than OEM replacement on the GT's, much stronger and more durable. Don't bother putting the OEM ones in, you will eventually get the Front End Clunks when they fail. When I did my BMR suspension kit, this is the ones BMR recommended and they worked great!
