Mass Back Floor Carpet for all 1982-1993 Coupe & Hatchback Mustangs.
Almost nothing can freshen up the interior of your Fox Body more than installing a new carpet. These premium carpets are manufactured by the top automotive carpet companies and come pre-molded to ease installation. Available in all the factory colors for a perfect color match.
"Mass Back" is a tough, rubber layer between the carpet and the jute insulation that increases the form and rigidity of the carpet, while decreasing road noise. It virtually eliminates the need for Dynamat.
CJ's recommends laying the carpet out in the sun for a few hours to soften the backing prior to installation to help reduce the amount of wrinkles.
Any of these carpets will fit 1982-1993 Coupe & Hatchback Mustangs. The year ranges listed after the color name is the year the color was offered from the factory.

A little less than the original
I purchased the "mass back" interior carpet.The carpet is nice but the pile is not as thick as the original. I was also expecting it to have the holes in it already, which it did not. The padding underneath isn't as thick as the original either. But overall it is a nice piece and will look excellent. The people at the company were great also, especially Anthony, he was very helpful when ordering.
ACC mass back

The padding underneath isn't as thick as the original either. but the one down fall i noticed was when u cut it you have to be very careful cause it does rip very easy
