Product Description

Straight Black Monte Carlo Bar for 1969-1970 Mustangs.

This bar was developed by Carroll Shelby to stop shock tower flex and maintain proper wheel alignment during hard cornering. This extra support also helps prevent shock tower stress cracks. Copied from the original design, our bars feature a new thicker diameter tube and improved fender brackets. We have also stamped square holes in the top of each fender bracket to allow for the use of lower profile carriage bolts. No longer necessary to modify 1964-1968 versions to fit your 1969-1970.

If the shock towers on you car are close to being true, and you want to use a straight bar, this is the one. Quality of the part is good and I liked the square stamped holes so carriage bolts can be used on the top of the flange. After letting the car set an hour with the weight off the front end, the install went quick and fitment is very good.
