Barton Industries Short Throw Shifter with Shifter Bracket for 2011-2014 V6, GT and Boss Mustangs.

Built in the USA from the highest quality materials and featuring a 40% throw reduction, it is no wonder that Barton's short shifter is considered one of the hottest upgrades out there.
Shifter Features:
- 40% throw reduction
- Machined from 6061 T6 billet aluminum and 304 stainless steel
- Dual pivot trunnion allows for minimal loss of the neutral left to right throw
- Minimal NVH increase for quiet operation
- Maintains factory reverse lock out and back-up camera
- Accepts factory knobs and maintains factory knob height
- Easy installation with no permanent modification
- Includes Barton's shifter bracket
This shifter is paired and sold with Barton's shifter bracket (HW2960). Barton's billet aluminum shifter bracket will further improve shift performance by helping to eliminate missed shifts due to shifter deflection caused by the flimsy factory shifter bracket.

Great Short shifter in my 5.0
I never install short shifter before and when I bought my 2011 GT 5.0 I relaised that I need to change my shifter because it is really not for daily use. After many search about best short shifter in the market for this year 2012 I found Barton is the best and when I install it I love it. After I install it for the first time it took almost 1 hour for both shifter and bracket. Then when I drove my car I found this shifter is heavy duty and great for daily use. This shifter is not light when you use it it is tuff and heavy similar to GT500. The best thing that I found is I never miss any gear from 1-6 but you will notice that this shifter is tuffer than stock. Finally, the reverse is 3 time tuffer than the stock but it is worth it because you will drive happy espically you are far a way from missing gear 1 or reverse. This shifter is worth to buy and for daily use.
