Installing a new short shifter or just replacing your original rotted shift boot? This shift boot bolts to the floor, underneath the center console on top of the transmission hump. This seal will help eliminate exhaust fumes and outside debris from entering the interior of your Mustang.
Includes factory metal trim ring for a clean install. Makes for a great factory replacement.

Great replacement part
This is a required part if you are doing an AOD to T-5 conversion. You will realize it the first time you drive down the road if this part is not in when you have hot air that is blowing in near your legs from the center console. Before you cut any sheet metal when doing a swap buy this part and drill the holes out where this part goes so you don't cut too much away.
