I purchased this strut from CJ Pony parts with the understanding it may not work on my 2007 Mustang GT. Well, it works perfectly, clears my newly installed Ford Racing intake manifold, and does not interfere with the interior of the hood when closed. Highly recommended.
Installed on my 2013 GT. This is an excellent piece and at the 20% sale price it's a bargain. If you've been thinking about getting a brace, grab this while it's still on sale.
I recently read a review here and learned this brace also fit on the 05-09 Mustang. I have an 07' Mustang GT and installed in 5 minutes without any hood interference. It looks great as it passes over my new Ford Racing intake manifold. Thanks CJP!
Installation of this brace took about 10 minutes on my 2012 V6. It made a noticeable difference in cornering, and the car feels more solid going over bumps.
