....I have not installed it yet. One little FYI is that you have to pull the right bumper bracket off to get to the lower, forward brace bolt. I will compare the dimensions and brace angle with my OEM tray. Years ago I had it powder coated but you are hard pressed to find batteries that have the lower side case anchoring lugs.
Not even close to direct bolt in. Will move brace out 3/4" to get holes to line up with car.
The notion of this tray is terrific in that it provides a superior battery hold down mechanism. But the one I received required quite a bit of "english" to get it to fit properly. The bottom brace was not at the proper angle, which meant that none of the holes lined up properly. I was able to bend the bottom brace to fit, but now the tray isn't quite as close to level as even the old rusted out one was.
So the idea is right, but I'd assert that it's not quite a "bolt on" solution.
This is a great way to mount a regular battery in a 65-66 with a real (67) hold down. The tray quality is ok.
