Just installed this upgrade kit on my 1969 Mach 1. The improvement is nothing short of amazing. From an old, wandering, over-assisted stock system, the car now tracks , feels and steers like a new BMW. Worth every nickel if you're planning to drive your car. Installation requires a good mechanic, as the steering column has to be shortened by 1-1.5 inches. All necessary parts were included with the kit.
This part is the best upgrade you can do (if you have front disk brakes already).
I had a factory PS system and had replaced all parts with new stuff, but was still annoyed by the play in my steering. Now it feels like my old car is on rails (OK I also did a “Shelby lowering” but still)!
The installation was easy (only problem would be if you’re car has rust issues in the front frame), everything seems to be right on the money. Speaking of which – I find this to be worth every penny.
As I like to say Have fun and stay safe (could be Borgeson’s motto too).
