Out the box, the upper arm flanges closest to the inner fender required extensive grinding to allow full movement of the arms to travel up and down! Compared to the original arms, the Scott Drakes came with extra material in the area near the arm pivot, and this is where it was binding against the inner fender. While the rest of the arm assembly showed good quality and build, the fit was atrocious! Up to 1/4" material on each side had to be removed using a high speed grinder. The arms were installed in a 71 Mustang convertible.
