The effectiveness of OEM stabilizer (anti-roll or sway) bars can easily be enhanced by replacing the mushy, stock rubber bushings with firm polyurethane bushings from Prothane. Polyurethane bushings are firm enough to control movement and maintain alignment in sway bars, without the harshness or resonance. These replacement bushings feature grooved bores, designed to hold Prothane's Super Grease, for quiet operation. Tech Tip: It is possible to interchange front sway bars on different year Mustangs as an upgrade over the original. For example, a 1996-1998 Cobra front sway bar would fit a 1996-1998 GT. We highly recommend verifying which front sway bar your Mustang is equipped with before ordering replacement bushings.
